Your responsibilities
The Geomatics team (Sites and Civil Engineering Department) is responsible for providing topographic services and managing CERN’s Geographic Information System (GIS).The team surveys, collects and manages all geographical information relating to CERN’s infrastructure and equipment.
As a land survey technician, you will be responsible for topographical surveys and for the setting of buildings and underground networks and services. You will also be responsible for drawing your plans and maps in the GIS. The work is split roughly equally between the field and the office, and you’ll work closely with the surveyor in charge of topography.
