Réalisation d’une enquête de couverture vaccinale post campagne de riposte contre la fièvre jaune dans 09 districts de santé (Bangue, Boko, Bonassama, Cité des palmiers, Deido, Japoma, Logbaba, New Bell, Nylon)

Background  

Le Cameroun connait une recrudescence des cas de fièvre jaune. Au regard de cette situation préoccupante et des performances sous-optimales de la vaccination de routine, le pays avec l’appui technique et financier de ses partenaires, s’est engagé à conduire des activités de vaccination supplémentaires réactives. Une première riposte a été organisée dans sept (07) districts de sante (Djohong, Meiganga, Tignère dans la région de l’Adamaoua, Garoua 1, Gaschiga, Ngong dans la région du Nord et Djoum dans la région du Sud) au cours du mois d’avril 2024. Faisant suite à la confirmation des cas dans quelques districts de santé de la ville de Douala, une autre campagne de riposte est planifiée pour les 09 DS de la ville de Douala à savoir : Bangue, Boko, Bonassama, Cité des Palmiers, Deido, Japoma, Logbaba, New Bell, Nylon. L’objectif de cette campagne est de vacciner au moins 95% de la cible âgée de 9 mois à 59 ans dans ces districts. L’enquête de couverture vaccinale post campagne vise à apprécier la couverture vaccinale suivant les exigences méthodologiques de l’OMS.

Deliverables

• Evaluer la qualité de la préparation de la campagne aux niveaux central et opérationnel ;
• Evaluer la qualité de la mise en œuvre des activités de la campagne aux différents niveaux de la pyramide ;
• Estimer la couverture vaccinale selon les caractéristiques socio-démographique et économique des populations (y compris les populations spéciales) dans les districts ciblés et en particulier par groupe d’âge et par sexe ;
• Estimer la proportion d’enfants de 12-59 mois vaccinés pour la première fois contre la fièvre jaune à l’occasion de cette campagne ;
• Estimer la proportion des parents âgés de 15 ans et plus informée avant l’administration du vaccin dans les districts de santé ciblés ;
• Documenter les raisons de non-vaccination et de refus à la vaccination durant cette campagne ;
• Estimer l’occurrence des MAPI graves et mineures pendant et après la campagne ;
• Evaluer la gestion des MAPI graves et mineures pendant et après la campagne
• Evaluer le niveau de connaissance de la population concernant les maladies évitables par la vaccination
• Identifier les principaux canaux d’information des parents sur la campagne ;
• Formuler des recommandations pour améliorer la qualité des prochaines campagnes de riposte contre la fièvre jaune.

Qualifications, experience, skills and languages

Educational Qualifications

Essential: Licence en santé publique ou épidémiologie ou ingénieur en statistique/démographie
Desirable: PhD/Doctorat, en sciences de la santé, sciences sociales ou MBA sont des atouts

Experience  

Essential: Avoir au moins deux années d’expérience dans le domaine.
Desirable:  Une expérience au sein des Nations Unies serait un atout.
