Responsibilities:

The Technical Specialist- TVET is responsible for supporting the BPRM team in providing technical support to implement activities under the FSL component. This role entails providing technical expertise and guidance for project execution, monitoring, and the capacity building of partners and stakeholders. The individual is accountable for supporting the project team across various aspects, including assessment, response analysis, design, coordination, implementation, and monitoring and evaluating all FSL components. S/He will Ensure the monitoring and development of BPRM management documents, including but not limited to the Phased Budget, Detailed Implementation Plan, and Procurement Plan, Collaborate closely with and seek consultation from the Senior Manager- PRM to provide technical support to implementing partners in the FSL field, ensuring the smooth implementation of activities, Ensure functional relation among NSDA & BTEB in line with accreditation of livelihoods skill development module and certification of trained participants. , Organize team meetings to discuss both the timing and content of FSL activities and ensure proper reporting on the outcomes of these meetings. Support the documentation of all training, workshop, and seminar activities, and prepare progress reports accordingly. Additionally, s/he will offer technical assistance on TVET, employability & IGA to partner organizations to ensure the alignment of project activities with SCI standards.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of working experience in the TVET & youth employability sector including 2 years in a management or supervisory position
• Experience working on Partner Management, Implementation of an integrated project, and Rights-based & partnership approaches.
• Excellent attention to detail and Cultural awareness and ability to build relationships quickly with a wide variety of people.
• Working in the integrated livelihoods and youth development program will add value
• Understanding of social development issues, including gender and disability inclusion, poverty, skills development, and SDGs.
• Working knowledge of MS Office and email and Internet.
• Excellent communication (written and spoken) and interpersonal skills in English, with experience interacting with multicultural teams.
• Master’s Degree, preferably in Agriculture, Poultry Science, Fisheries, Food Security and Livelihoods, and/ or a relevant discipline.
