Medium sized office with a full component of programmes located in the capital city to have close proximity to government partners. The Administrative Officer supervises the position.
The Administrative Associate is accountable for both specialized and procedural communications, operational and administrative support services.

Under the supervision and guidance of the Administrative Officer/NOB, the Administrative Associate is responsible for executing a broad variety of procedural and specialized administrative tasks for the respective section requiring in-depth knowledge of UNICEF administrative procedures, processes and policies.

UNICEF appointments are subject to medical clearance. Issuance of a visa by the host country of the duty station, which will be facilitated by UNICEF, is required for IP positions. Appointments are also subject to inoculation (vaccination) requirements, including against SARS-CoV-2 (Covid). Otherwise, the selection will be cancelled.

General Service Staff are recruited locally. Candidates must be in possession of an existing work permit or resident/citizen of Haiti to be considered eligible for this post. Please note that General Service (GS) staff are locally recruited staff and therefore, candidates are personally responsible for any travel and accommodation arrangements.
