JOB SUMMARY

The position provides great opportunity to work as part of a dynamic and international team based at the vibrant Alliance of Bioversity International and CIAT India office in New Delhi located at NASC Complex, Pusa Campus, New Delhi. AS CFI Coordinator, you will spearhead the establishment and management of the CFI Project Management Unit and successfully implement its activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The person hired will be responsible to coordinate the following activities under the overall supervision of CFI Grant Manager and Technical Advisor and in coordination with other Alliance staff based in India office or elsewhere:
1. Plan, prepare conference announcement and coordinate logistic arrangements for successful organization of annual conference;
2. Organize project related consultation workshop and meetings to discuss CFI grant implementation protocols;
3. Synthesis and publish conference and meetings proceedings;
4. Prepare and publish grant announcement and proposal submission guidelines;
5. Coordinate in developing and regular updating CFI website and online portal for CFI virtual knowledge and evidence hub;
6. Develop and disseminate communication, capacity building, and outreach materials;
7. Find advertising sponsors and run adverts to promote public uptake;
8. Run crowdfunding/ funding campaigns;
9. Overall responsible for project budget management and timely submission of technical and financial reports;
10. Any other responsibilities relating to successful implementation of CFI activities.

REQUIREMENTS

Required qualifications and skills
Master’s degree in any of the fields relating to: Project Management, Human Resource Development, Mass Communication, Agriculture, Natural Resources Management, or similar fields;
Profound knowledge of agricultural livelihood and crop production, especially fruit production and consumption;
Experience with desk research, literature reviews, and the utilization of existing datasets for research purposes;
Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools, including Excel;
Fluency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills;
Experience with international organizations is a plus.
