JOB SUMMARY

INTERNSHIP TOPIC
Analysis of Pakistan’s labor force and living standard surveys2. SUMMARY OF JOB DESCRIPTION
• Conduct quantitative analysis of Pakistan household and labor force survey data
• Conduct econometrics analysis
• Assess the determinants of the female wage and gender wage gap in Pakistan

3.PERIOD OF ASSIGNMENT
• Duration: 11 weeks
• Timing: February 2025 onwards

4.LOCATION
ADB Headquarters, Manila, Philippines

5.EXPECTED OUTCOMES
The intern with the ADB staff writes a paper on the determinants of the labor wage and the impact on living standards in Pakistan.

Qualifications

6.EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• Postgraduate Degree in Economics.
• Intern must be enrolled at a school in one of the ADB member countries for the entire duration of the internship.

7.RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
• Quantitative analytical skills are merit, especially a literacy for STATA and/or R.
