UNOPS ETMCO – South Sudan is implementing the Productive Safety Net For Socioeconomic Opportunities Project (SNSOP) which is funded by the World Bank (WB) to address existing challenges of soaring levels of poverty, vulnerability, unemployment and idleness, particularly amongst the youth.
The development objectives of the project are to provide cash transfers and access to income generating opportunities and strengthen the National Safety Net Delivery System, SNSOP has four main components namely:
UNOPS – ETMCO South Sudan Office is recruiting 18 positions of Administration Clerk _ Community Mobilisation to be based in Aweil West and Maban.
Qualified women and candidates from groups which are underrepresented in the UNOPS workforce are encouraged to apply.
Under the overall supervision of the Project Management Support Senior Assistant (PMSSA), the Administration Clerk _ Community Mobilisation is required to the support selection of beneficiaries, monitor cash distribution and collect attendance registers and also ensure that the voices of community members, including women and elderly are heard.

The community mobilizer will ensure that community mobilization and stakeholder engagement activities are implemented as stipulated in the Community Engagement and Capacity Building (CECB), and ensure that the communities are adequately informed about the project.
