Duties and Responsibilities

The internship in the Division of Production, Productivity and Management will last 3 months, depending on the needs of the Office.

Candidates may be selected throughout the posting period, on an “as-needed” basis. Under the supervision or overall guidance of Marco Llinás: The intern will support the Unit of Investments and Corporate Strategies. Tasks will include: – Collaborate in studies on productive development in general, with special attention to impact investments and companies in the region.

-Liaise with government officials in the region to receive information regarding firm level data. -Use statistical software to analyse company data in countries in the region.

– Support the management of the Development Policy Studies Programme for Latin America and the Caribbean.

Qualifications/special skills
The basic education required is HS Diploma. Be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent).
Languages

Fluency in Spanish is required.

Knowledge at a basic level of English is required.
