JOB DESCRIPTION

Our Ideal Candidate:

The role of the Data collector who is dependable and self-driven to ensure the successful completion of our MEL (e.g., PDM, Outcome survey, Routine monitoring survey, client satisfaction survey, and any other assessment, etc.) data collection process and responsible for conducting interviews and collecting information from households, programme participants and individuals within a specific area.

Key Tasks and Assignments:

  • Conduct interviews with individuals to collect MEL data.
  • Follow NRC’s guidelines, procedures, and protocols in collecting and recording data.
  • Verify data for accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of data.
  • Conduct follow-up interviews as necessary to obtain missing or incomplete data.
  • Utilize electronic devices i.e., Tablets to record data.
  • Report any issues or concerns to the Supervisor.
  • Work in an assigned geographical area, walking or driving to designated locations.
  • Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings, as required.

          

Key Education and Skills Requirements:

  • Academic Qualification: HSC/Diploma/Graduate. 
  • Subject-based content knowledge and data collection experiences. 
  • More than 1 year’s experience in survey/data enumerator/M&E/MIS, verification, and supporting peers in professional development.
  • Experience in data collection through an online-based platform, e.g.

    KOBO.

  • Fluent in the Chittagonian/Rohingya language is preferable 
  • Knowledge of the Burmese language would be an asset 
  • Experience from working in a non-profit organization, especially in vocational training 
  • Work experience in the Rohingya refugee camp context is preferable.
