DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the supervision of the UNDP Regional Stabilization Director or his/her designated mandated representative(s), the Programme Analyst will be part of the UNDP Stabilization team based in Dakar, Senegal and he/she reports to the Regional Stabilization Director. He/she will discharge the following duties and responsibilities:
1) Provide technical support to programme management of the Regional Stabilization Facility in the Lake Chad Basin and Liptako Gourma Region, support to SMDF and NFF:
2) Ensure efficient donors’ relations and production of knowledge products, analysis, drafting and reporting.
3) Ensure effective programme coordination:
The incumbent performs other duties within their functional profile as deemed necessary for the efficient functioning of the Office and the Organization.
INSTITUTIONAL ARRANGEMENT
The incumbent will work under the direct supervision of UNDP Regional Stabilization Facility Director or her/his designated representatives.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS OF THE SUCCESSFUL IPSA

Education requirements |
Advanced university degree (master’s degree or equivalent) in International Relations, Human Rights, Development, Social Sciences, or other relevant areas, is required. OR Advertisement
A first-level university degree (Bachelor’s degree) in the areas mentioned above, in combination of 2 years’ experience will be taken in consideration in lieu of a Master’s degree. |
Min. years of relevant work experience | Up to 2 (two) years (with master’s degree) or minimum of 2 years (with bachelor’s degree) of relevant experience at the national or international level in providing management advisory services, and/or hands-on experience in design, monitoring and evaluation of development projects. |
Required skills | Experience in programme management, analysis and development, drafting and reporting is required. |
