1- Provide coverage for in-house events and meetings, as well as assist in covering ESCWA activities in other venues: • Compile summaries of content in a format that is tailored to external audiences; • Follow-up with clusters on requests raised for coverage, to collect missing/important information, key messages, etc. • Gather quotes from speakers; • Assist in capturing short video messages from experts that highlight key messages; • Support the drafting of press releases and/or new stories based on collected content; • Support efforts to archive raw materials post-production and to archive the unit productions as a whole; • Draft media plans and tailored campaigns for specific events, when required. 2- Manage social media pages and produce periodic reports: • Follow up on upcoming in-house events and meetings, liaise with clusters when information is missing; • Research and prepare social media posts for different platforms with all related visuals and graphics, as needed. • Maintain a clear social media calendar to ensure timely and continuous posting on all platforms. • Support in maintaining a schedule of upcoming international days and global campaigns that should be reflected on ESCWA platforms; • Prepare content in English and Arabic; • Manage and oversee social media content • Prepare periodic analyses of the media coverage of ESCWA events and activities. • Define most important social media KPIs; • Create templates to be filled post-events, monthly, quarterly and yearly; • Measure the success of every social media campaign and report it. 3- Perform other duties as assigned.

5 years of experience in assisting with public information work, including photography and social media, is required. Experience in an international setting is desirable.
