Background and Organizational Context
OCHA Syria based in Gaziantep Turkey as of October 2022 has 54 staff (24 international and 33 of national staff).
The office premises consist of two rented commercial buildings based in Gaziantep, to support the transportations
OCHA currently has six armoured vehicles and four soft-skins vehicles. Under the guidance and supervision of the
Logistic/Admin Assistant the driver provides transportation support to office operations for logistic arrangement and general affairs.

Position Purpose
The driver will aim to provide the effectiveness mobility of staff in terms of transportation within the city and for field mission within the country and cross border missions to different governorates of northwest Syria.
