JOB DESCRIPTION

A better life for everyone and meaningful tasks for our employees – that is our model for success. For more than 50 years, the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ), as a German government company, has been supporting the global implementation of development policy goals. Together with partner organizations in 120 countries, we are involved in a wide variety of projects. If you want to make a difference in the world and develop yourself in the process, you have come to the right place.

Field of activity

One component of the project aims to support fair and development-oriented migration of trainees and skilled workers for German employers. Since the shortage of skilled workers in Germany already begins in the vocational training phase, this is also one of the project’s focuses. Overall, German employers benefit from the recruitment of skilled workers, while new work and career opportunities open up for trainees and skilled workers in Germany. For the countries of origin, this offers the opportunity to expand the range of training and employment opportunities for young people (triple win effect).
The activities surrounding the selection and placement of candidates in Germany are carried out in cooperation with the Central Foreign and Specialist Placement Agency (ZAV) of the Federal Employment Agency (BA).
