Assignment/Activity: The consultant will work with the project of Extended analysis of past datasets of Cholera, Typhoid and Rotavirus IIIEADIII. The consultant must comply with the overall Terms of Reference for the consultancy.

Expected start date of assignment: October 15, 2024

Duration: 50 days

Scope of work: The consultant will report to his/her respective supervisor and s/he will complete the assigned tasks as planned under the Terms of References (ToR).

  • Work with the EADIII Research Team Members.
  • Responsible in development of concept and statistical analysis plan and support in data analysis.
  • Assist in writing research papers and submission in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Assist to prepare clear, concise, and scientifically rigorous content.

Required qualifications and experience:

  • Medical Degree (MD), specially in General Public Health;
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Project Management;
  • At least 10 years of experience in clinical research, including clinical trials;
  • Experience in grant writing wining grant proposals and grant management;
  • Experience of working in public research organizations in low-and middle-income countries (LMICs);
  • Experience with data analysis, including the use of statistical software (e.g. SPSS, STATA, R);
  • Experience in writing research papers and publications in peer-reviewed journals;
  • Working experience with existing clinical trail data and conducting secondary analysis;
  • Strong background in strategic planning, project management, monitoring and evaluation of health projects;
