About this position
We are looking for a strategic and forward-thinking Leadership Effectiveness Consultant. As a Leadership Effectiveness Consultant, you will be responsible for assessing leadership needs, map existing programs and elements to propose future enhancements.
You will work in the Culture & Leadership Effectiveness team part of Human Resources department. This team is responsible for the organizational effectiveness and staff development strategies.
What you’ll do
- Design and implement initiatives to enable leadership effectiveness behaviors across the organization.
- Design and implement methodologies to evaluate effectiveness of our leadership model and identify areas for improvements. Utilize tools such as 360-degree feedback, personality assessments, performance metrics or others.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and HR teams to align leadership development strategies with organizational goals and business strategies.
- Work closely with our Human Resources Centers of Expertise, key stakeholders, and leadership to ensure that the program delivers the expected outcomes.
- Analyze metrics to measure the effectiveness of initiatives and make improvements to our current processes and programs.
What you’ll need
- Education: Master degree (or equivalent advanced degree) in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or other fields relevant to the responsibilities of the role.
- Experience: At least/ Between 8 and 10 years of progressive experience in a role focused on leadership development, talent management, organizational development, or a related field, in a multinational environment.
- Languages: Proficiency in English and one of the other Bank official languages (Spanish, French or Portuguese) is required.

- Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to the fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB, IDB Invest, or IDB Lab.
Type of contract and duration
- Type of contract: International Consultant Full-Time.
- Length of contract: 12 months.
- Work Location: On site.
