The Role and Scope:
The Early Childhood Development & Inclusive Quality Education (ECD & IQAdvisor is a strategic leadership position within Program team and act as the key technical expert and program lead of ECD & IQE for Plan International Bangladesh. This role will be responsible for positioning PIB internally and externally as a thought leader and advocate for ECD & IQE for children, adolescents and youth specially girls and gender diverse communities in both development and emergency context. This position will set program vision, develop strategy and determine success factors in alignment with country strategy that advance access to gender transformative ECD and access to safe, inclusive quality education (preprimary, primary, secondary and tertiarin both development and humanitarian crisis.
This role is to ensure the organization is technically supported by contextually appropriate, relevant and best practices integrated projects and strategic vision in order to achieve program outcomes. This role is essential in designing, implementing, and scaling inclusive ECD & IQE program that empower children, adolescents, and youth to become catalyst of systemic change in gender norms and power dynamics. The post holder responsible to ensure that gender and inclusive approach embedded in ECD & IQE programmes and ECD & IQE by quality benchmark in full project cycle management process and generate and use learning.
One of the major responsibilities of the incumbent will be to position Plan International Bangladesh as the leading organization for girls’ rights by strengthening partnerships with government and nongovernment institutions, donors, and embassies, UNagencies etc. at national and subnational levels through advocating Plan’s ECD & IQE agenda. Besides, ECD & IQE Advisor will represent Plan in interagency ECD & IQE networks, and serve as an expert on national, regional, and international spaces to influence mostly ECD & IQE policies including all related guidelines, which serve as framework that guides work done for adolescents. ECD & IQE Advisor will be expected to champion evidencebased intervention and to be a credible technical partner of government and others in ECD & IQE areas, specifically about Comprehensive Sexuality Education and Gender Responsive Adolescent Friendly Health Services.
What we’re looking for:
Strategic Leader: Demonstrated history of having strategic vision, reach, funding target, outcomes and innovative interventions of ECD & IQE program
Technical Expert: Ability to provide oversight to ensure program components are technically sound, grounded in gender and power analysis, and inclusive of diverse identities from an intersectional feminist perspective
Collaborative Partner: Able to Represent and engage with government, donors, national offices, academia, networks, and youthled organizations to position Plan International Bangladesh as a leader in ECD & IQE programming
Knowledge & Evidence Manager: Someone who can ensure best practices from Plan federation and external organizations are regularly captured and initiate activities to brain storm and generate innovative program designs based on internal and external learnings
Advocacy Leader: Lead Provide technical leadership to develop and implement the country advocacy strategy for advancing ECD & IQE agenda

Salary: Monthly consolidated salary range for this role is BDT 287,183BDT 358,979 (may vary based on experiencalong with other benefits i.e. Life Insurance, Hospitalization Insurance coverage along with Out Patient Treatment Benefit.
