General Information:
BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE OF THE ASSIGNMENT:
To perform specialized and/or standardized policy and programmerelated processes and activities to support the effective delivery of assistance packages.
Key responsibilities for the first position (Civil Enginee:
Assist in planning and monitoring of Resilience and Livelihood programme particularly on the technical aspect of the project.
Review BOQs, engineering design submitted by the partners and coordinate with the engineering unit CO for the final review and final approval of the project.
Support CP technical team on the preparation of the asset technical profiling.
Monitor the implementation progress in the field in compliances with the agreed BOQ and technical design and agreed quality standard of the projects.
Raise issue of concern to SNL unit for troubleshoot and resolve operational issues as they arise and report any significant issues which could impede implementation and that require higher level input in a timely manner to supervisor.
Support the SNL unit during the handover process of the assets by ensuring the delivered assets meet the technical designs and specifications.
Provide operational feedback to the AO SNL team.
Perform other duties as required and assigned.
Key responsibilities for the second position (Agricultural Enginee:
Assist planning and monitoring of Resilience and livelihood projects particularly on the technical aspect of the project.
Review BOQ on agricultural related projects submitted by the partners and recommend accordingly.
Provide technical advice to partners on the business plan preparation and agriculture related projects.
Provide technical support to the CP to ensure good practices are maintained.
Conduct regular visits to the oversee implementation progress and provide onjob technical feedback as well as preparing oversight reports for the unit.
Raise issue of concern to SNL unit for troubleshoot and resolve operational issues as they arise and report any significant issues which could impede implementation and that require higher level input in a timely manner to supervisor.
Provide operational feedback to the AO SNL team.
Perform other duties as required and assigned.
Standard Minimum Qualifications:

Be fluent in English (WFP working languag
Be fit to work at the duty station of the internship.
Not be sons, daughters, brothers or sisters of WFP employees.

a. Currently enrolled in an undergraduate programme (for example, Bachelor’s degreand have completed at least 2 years of the programme.
