The position is located in the Division for Asia and the Pacific, Regional and National Development Sector. The Division for Asia and the Pacific is responsible for providing legal and technical assistance to 38 countries, 27 of which are developing countries and 11 are LeastDeveloped Countries in the Asia and Pacific region, in a tangible, impactful, and inclusive manner. The Division engages multiple stakeholders, such as IP offices, other government agencies, and private sector entities in tailormade programs on IP, to build experience and confidence in using IP, including copyright and related rights, trademarks, patents, designs, and geographical indications, as tools for innovation and creativity. Collaborating with other WIPO units, the Division for Asia and the Pacific ensures that technical assistance is projectbased, aligned with each country’s priorities, and will contribute to achieving the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals, building on its intrinsic knowledge and perspective of the country/region. The main duty of this post is to assist with the implementation of FundsinTrust Republic of Korea (FIT/ROCopyright and Related Rights (Cactivities. The incumbent will contribute to the timely and effective implementation of the FIT/ROK (CWork Plan and relevant projects. The incumbent is required to perform a variety of administrative transactions and office support functions contributing to the smooth and efficient running of the work unit.

The incumbent works under the supervision of the Officer in charge of the FIT/ROK (Cand under the overall supervision of the Director of the Division for Asia and the Pacific.
Duties and Responsibilities
The incumbent will perform the following principal duties:
a. Text process and format, using appropriate software, a variety of documents (correspondence, tables, reports, presentations, publications, etc.) in line with corporate standards; proofread drafts, photocopy, collate, and distribute completed documents.
b. Provide logistics support for projects, meetings, workshops and events; make travel and hotel arrangements; collect travel documents, as well as make preparations and arrangements for virtual meetings.
c. Input, retrieve, structure and update selected information and data into/from various sources (e.g. databases, Intra/Internet, office files, etc.); present results in standard format.
d. Set up and maintain office files and reference systems according to established procedures; assemble files for meeting purposes according to specific instructions.
e. Sort, register and route incoming mail and correspondence.
f. Receive and refer telephone calls and visitors; respond to routine requests for information; arrange appointments and meetings; prepare information files for supervisor.
g. Initiate, view and track a variety of administrative transactions in the computerized financial/travel/procurement/human resources systems.
h. Perform other related duties as required.
