Description of the Assignment: The Legal Expert will, in close cooperation with the Science and Technology Park of Republika Srpska management, collect information and research the current legal environment and legal framework related to the science, technology and innovation in Republika Srpska and in the region, and based on findings of the research prepare recommendations for the further development of the innovation legal framework in Republika Srpska, provide inputs for the process of drafting the Republika Srpska Innovation Law Support and a legal advice and legal support for the STP RS management in preparation of the key organizational and operational documents necessary for functioning and operation of the STP RS within the local legal system.

S/he will ensure that the most relevant experiences and lessons learned in development of innovation ecosystems and STPs in the EU and the neighboring countries are taken into consideration when planning and delivering the legal advice and inputs.

Period of assignment/services: November 2024 – January 2025
