Description of the Assignment: The primary objective of this consultancy is to support the project ideation and formulation team to conduct a baseline, and pre-feasibility studies in the proposed locations of the projects and collect required socio-economic, environment and climate related information. This includes assessing the current status of climate resilience and adaptive capacities in the target areas, identifying key threats and challenges, key development priorities in terms of promoting climate resilient and ecosystem-based adaptation, mapping key stakeholders, and mapping existing initiatives and gaps.

Additionally, the consultant will also conduct an in-depth scoping study on local climate vulnerabilities and adaptation practices, needs and gaps in Kurigram, Rangpur (NNW) and Pabna, Natore, Sirajganj.

Period of assignment/services: 45 days over a period of three months (starting from 1^st December 2024)
