Under the overall guidance of the Chief of Procurement and Travel Services, and the daily supervision of the Procurement Specialist, the Procurement and SCM Data Analytics Consultant will be responsible for supporting procurement and Supply Chain Management (SCM) by analyzing data within existing ERP systems, performing data quality assessments, and generating insights to support decision-making. The Consultant will provide technical support, conduct data validation, and ensure data integrity within the ERP system. They will promote a collaborative, client-focused, quality, and results-oriented approach in the procurement section, working in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
The Procurement and SCM Data Analytics Consultant works in close collaboration with Operations, Programme and Project teams in the Business Unit, Region and UN Women HQ. Their role will focus on highlighting best practices, monitoring the procurement function, and providing data-driven insights to support informed decision-making and improve procurement processes. This will contribute that procurement activities align with UN Women’s strategic goals and deliver value through efficiency and sustainability.
