Description of the Assignment: National Consultant on Development of Methodical Recommendations on Social Accompaniment Service (SAS) for war veterans, including Explosive Ordnance (EO) victims, and their family members

Duty Station: Home-based

Duration of assignment / or end date (if applicable): 4 months from the contract start

!PLEASE NOTE: the currency of the proposal is UAH. Furthermore, UNDP will enter into a contract with the selected national consultant in UAH.

Main objectives of the assignment: to develop Methodical Recommendations on provision of Social Accompaniment Service (SAS) to ensure the effective provision of SAS for war veterans, including persons injured by EO and their family members.

Scope of work:

It is expected that in terms of implementation of the assignment, the Contractor will conduct the following activities:

• Develop draft Methodical Recommendations (+/- 25-30 pages) for social workers providing SAS service (Social Accompanying Service) for war veterans, including persons injured by EO and their family members.
• Develop training materials for the 1-day training for social workers – providers of SAS, based on the Methodical Recommendations.
• Develop a set of recommendations on further improvement of legal framework, as well as procedures of SAS (Social Accompaniment Service) for war veterans, including persons injured by EO and their family members.
