  • General Qualifications
  • University degree (preferably in computer sciences), equivalent education or relevant professional experience.
  • Organisational and project management abilities; proven ability to work as a member of multi-national/multi-disciplinary teams (including contractors), dealing with complex, interrelated technical issues.
  • Minimum eight years’ experience in Information Technology (IT) e-Business applications, business automation and systems.
  • Very good written and oral communication skills, in technical and non-technical areas with technicians and non-technical managers particularly in trying circumstances.
  • Proven ability to analyse and document IS concepts and architectures.
  • Ability to work independently, to be self-motivated, to work under stress and to tight deadlines.
Specific Qualifications
  • Broad technical background in the area of IT [including the Agency’s enterprise software (SAP), EDI, networking, internet and operating system technology, systems security] and proven ability to develop and document IS concepts and architectures.
  • Good knowledge of database design and multi-tiered client/server design, as well as experience in software and process modeling techniques.
  • Broad knowledge of the latest development languages and frameworks: C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React), as well as Structured Query Language (SQL).
  • Knowledge and implementation experience in Blockchain technologies.
  • Knowledge and experience with AI frameworks and platforms.
  • Good analytical skills with a strong background in data analysis and visualization (BI / Business Intelligence).
LANGUAGE QUALIFICATIONS
  • NATO’s two official languages are English and French. The work of this post is mainly conducted in English, therefore fluency in that language is essential and working knowledge of French is desirable.

POST DETAILS

  • Basic monthly salary: EUR 7 370, 72 tax free.
