This task supports UN Volunteers Türkiye’s campaign for the International Day of Persons with Disabilities by making the video accessible to the Deaf community. Your contribution will support ensure that the campaign message on inclusion and accessibility reaches a broader audience, reinforcing UN Volunteers’ commitment to equity and representation.

Task Description

We are seeking the support of an online volunteer for a Turkish Sign Language (TİD) interpretation to contribute to a video campaign for the International Day of Persons with Disabilities (December 3rd). The online volunteer will interpret a pre-written script into Turkish Sign Language, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and cultural appropriateness. The online volunteer will: Use Turkish Sign Language (TİD) to interpret the provided script (approximately 2-3 minutes). Record the interpretation on video in a clear, professional, and well-lit setting. Deliver the final video file in MP4 format by [deadline date]. Collaborate with the project coordinator via email or virtual meetings to ensure alignment with the campaign’s objectives. Daily logistics: Communication will be conducted via email for task instructions and feedback. A virtual call may be arranged to provide guidance on expectations and ensure quality standards.
