About this position:
The Office of Evaluation and Oversight (OVE) is an independent office that reports directly to the Boards of IDB and IDB Invest. OVE undertakes independent and systematic evaluations of the IDB Group’s strategies, policies, programs, activities, delivery support functions and systems. It disseminates findings of the evaluations so that recommendations for improvement can be used in the design, appraisal, and execution of new operations, providing oversight and support for the enhancement of the effectiveness of the IDB Group’s evaluation system. The Evaluation Support Consultant is expected to work closely with all OVE staff to support the preparation of OVE’s evaluations and oversight studies and in close collaboration with other members of the administrative team.

· Education: Bachelor’s degree in economics, public policy, tourism, public relations, or a similar field. A Master’s degree would be a plus.
· Experience: A minimum of four (4) years of combined experience in Evaluation, Research, Event Production/Organization, Public Relations. The ideal candidate would have worked in evaluation/research organizing outreach and stakeholder engagement events. Strong written and verbal communication skills are a requirement. Must be detailed oriented and highly organized.
· Languages: Proficiency in English. Knowledge of at least one more Bank language (Spanish, Portuguese, or French) would be a plus.
