JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Ensure effective and collaborative implementations amongst project stakeholders, in national, sub-national, and district level for the following tasks:

  • Support the project team to ensure effective project planning and implementation;
  • Support coordination between internal dan external stakeholders;
  • Providing support to develop, liaise, and maintain working relationships with various and relevant stakeholders in national, sub-national, and distric level;
  • Providing support to facilitate multi-stakeholders process in connection amongst relevant stakeholders;
  • Provide inwards and outwards correspondence and other communication and its filing systems;
  • Providing support in planning meetings with stakeholders and project and sending regular updates on the initiative;
  • Providing support in constructing formal letter among stakeholder.

2. The incumbent of the position should avoid any kind of discriminatory behavior including gender discrimination and ensure that:

  • Human rights and gender equality is prioritized as an ethical principle within all actions;
  • Activities are designed and implemented in accordance with “Social and Environmental Standards of UNDP”;
  • Any kind of diversities based on ethnicity, age, sexual orientation, disability, religion, class, gender are respected within all implementations including data production;
  • Differentiated needs of women and men are considered;
  • Inclusive approach is reflected within all actions and implementations, in that sense an enabling and accessible setup in various senses such as disability gender language barrier is created;
  • Necessary arrangements to provide gender parity within all committees, meetings, trainings etc. introduced.

Under the overall guidance of the National Project Manager, the Project Clerk (Stakeholder Liaison) provides project support services ensuring high quality of work, ensures accurate, timely and properly recorded/documented service delivery. The organigram in Annex shows the position of this function within the office and unit structure.

Required Skills and Experience

Academic Education:

  • Secondary Education is required.
  • University degree (Bachelor’s Degree) in International Relations/Political Science/Social Science/Communication/Public Administration or other relevant fields will be given due consideration, but is not a requirement.

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant project/administrative experience preferably in the field of development and/or environment for candidate with high school degree
  • No experience is required for candidate with bachelor degree

Required Skills:

  • Ability to work in a team
  • Demonstrated keen interest in the work of the UN;
  • Demonstrated the ability to successfully interact with individuals from different cultural backgrounds and beliefs which include willingness to try and understand and be tolerant of different opinions and views;
  • Good inter-personal and communications skills.

Additional Skills and Competencies:

  • Familiar with Government and UN/UNDP procedures would be desirable
  • Experience in project implementation using Government and International Organization rules and regulation
  • Experience in collecting, and summarizing administration report
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement activities would be desirable

Languages:

  • English and Bahasa Indonesia in both writing and speaking
