Org. Setting and Reporting
The position is to be filled within the International Civil Servants Mutual Associations (ICSMA) for its entity La Mutuelle. The incumbent is under the supervision of the Chief Finance Officer.
Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Chief Finance Officer, the incumbent performs the following tasks: Loan applications: – Verify loan application data submitted with the Human Resources Department and/or Finance Department of the Organization concerned and/or with ICSMA/Mutuelle. – Verify data provided on existing indebtedness. Calculate the amount of a possible loan, based on the established rules and taking into consideration the category of loan requested (ordinary or housing) and the particularities of the Organization concerned. – Check the validity and relevance of documents provided in support of housing loan applications. – Contact loan applicants for information, clarification, documents to be provided, decision on loan granting. – Follow-up and verify final proofs provided by members after housing loans have been granted. Contact members in the event of no-provision of proof and collect penalties. Administrative tasks: – Processing membership applications (reception – inquiries – dispatch of documents – registration of membership in the system – send confirmation to members), preparation and dispatch of loan-related documents (covering letters – contract – amortization table – instructions), preparation of various letters. – Filing and clearing of files and documents – Assisting the Executive Secretary with administrative tasks such as submitting documents to GDOC, recruiting staff, processing files, preparing Powerpoint presentations, creating marketing brochures, tenders, taking minutes at meetings, updating procedures, sending out documents, preparing badges for companies. – Answering telephones and e-mails, generating secure access codes, updating documents addressed to members (brochures, circulars, etc.) and other administrative tasks.

Education
High school diploma or equivalent.
Job – Specific Qualification
Commercial training or an apprenticeship is desirable.
Work Experience
A minimum of five (5) years of professional administrative experience is required. The minimum number of years of relevant experience is reduced to three (3) for candidates with a first-level university degree or higher. A minimum of two (2) years of professional experience in an international organization of the United Nations system is desirable. A minimum of one (1) year of relevant professional experience in loans to customers (housing and/or consumer loans) is desirable. A minimum of one (1) year of relevant professional experience in customer services is desirable.
Languages
English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For the position advertised, fluency in English and French is required.
Assessment
Evaluation of qualified candidates may include an assessment exercise which will be followed by competency-based interview.

The position is funded on an annual basis by La Mutuelle, an ICSMA entity. The post is limited to service in ICSMA only.
