In this part time (0.6 FTE), maximum term contract for six months* role, you’ll work as a part of our Transactional & Treasury team in our brand new Melbourne office to help us create lasting change for children everywhere. The Banking Officer plays an important role in delivering on our vision of a better world for children. Whether it’s supporting the implementation of a new 4 Weekly Donation banking process or liaising with key project and internal stakeholders to ensure high levels of customer service are provided and maintained, you’ll be contributing to our commitment to children in Australia, the Pacific and around the world.
You will make a difference by:
· End-to-end banking, including but not limited to:
o Ensuring timely recording of receipts through DMP and other income sources are processed and recognised in bank accounts
o Ensuring items in bank accounts are matched and/or recognised in Agresso
o Working closely with Supporter Care to ensure timely processing & banking of cheque, cash & credit card donations received through mail
o Ensuring processes are initiated to receipt credit card donations from regular givers
o Assisting with testing of revised 4 Weekly Donation (4WD) process
o Documenting new operating procedures for the 4WD process
o Working collaboratively with the project team
