JOB DESCRIPTION

Context
Under the direct supervision of the Senior Finance Assistant – PM and National Resource Management Officer (NRMO), and the overall supervision of the Resource Management Officer (RMO), the incumbent will be responsible for providing finance and administration support and services to the mission’s activities.
  1. Assist in ensuring that IOM Financial rules are correctly applied on all financial transactions and archive the financial documents in accurate and timely manner.
  2. In Coordination with Sr. Finance, assisting in monitoring and managing the travel system and TRs tracking system for Jordan, Amman Mission.
  3. Responsible to do the E-filling for all financial documents and to be uploaded into IOM Accounting system (SAP) under Sr. Finance guidance.
  4. Organizing all Financial documents in hard copy after its completed and to be saved and archived according to IOM financial rules (FMRP).
  5. Validate and organize travel requests (TR) submitted by staff and non-staff members and follow up to be completed and approved by management in coordination with to SR. Finance and Finance admin assistant guidance.
  6. Responsible to do the archiving, sorting, and E-filling for travel requests documents (TR) and in organized manner.
  7. Focal point to receive and follow up with staff and non-staff to collect the travel claim documents (TEC) in coordination with SR. Finance and Finance admin assistant.
  8. Focal point to receive, send, or coordinate signatures for any financial documents with management and other units.
  9. Perform other responsibility related finance unit and other administrative duties may be required.
Education
  • University degree, in Accounting or Business Administration with minimum one year of Finance, Accounting or administrative experience.
  • Diploma in Accounting or Business Administration with minimum two years of finance, accounting, or administrative experience.
Experience
  • Knowledge in Finance, Accounting, and administration, preferably in archiving and E-filling process.
  • General knowledge of ERP system and accounting systems.
Skills
  • Knowledge of MS office, specifically in EXCEL.
  • Good communication skills, personal commitment, efficiency, flexibility, drive for results, respect for diversity and creative thinking.
Languages
  • English and Arabic oral & written is required
