You will:
- Maintain and track the capital budget expenditure related to field office projects.
- Maintain and track overall program governance related to the Special CAPEX program.
- Monitor program progress and prepare project reports.
- Monitor assigned project schedules following best practices on project management.
- Analyze information to allow the project teams to manage their projects and evaluate regular reports.
- Ensure accuracy of project budgets, schedules, and perform version control.
- Manage project risk register to ensure that risks are managed to minimize their impact on scope and budget of projects.
- Participate in and represent the Field Office Support (FOS) Team on relevant ADB-wide activities, working groups, and committees as assigned.
- Undertake or contribute to the implementation of special projects or other assigned tasks related to Field Office projects as directed.
- Perform other duties that may be assigned and reflected in the incumbent’s work plan.
Qualifications
You will need:
- Master’s degree, or equivalent, in business, public administration, law, economics, finance or fields related fields. Alternatively, university degree in related fields combined with additional relevant professional experience can be considered.
- At least 8 years’ relevant experience in project management, financial analysis, and budget management and governance.
- International experience working in developing countries, experience in Asia.
- Financial knowledge with experience in budgeting, cost estimation, and financial management (cost/investment, cost analysis, project cost control, spend tracking and management).
- Experience with project controls and project management concepts, practices and general policies, procedures, guidelines, and reporting requirements.
- Experience in project management and understanding of project management methodologies including managing complex projects and portfolios.
- Experience assessing and mitigating risks in projects.
- Demonstrated leadership and managerial skills, with experience in supervising teams, coordinating activities, and ensuring operational effectiveness.
- Knowledge of universally used productivity software (e.g. Microsoft Office suite) and experienced with enterprise IT platforms for accounting, disbursement, and financial management.
- Analytical and systematic thinking with numerical skills, detail oriented, manage time and coordinate schedules to ensure completion of tasks.
- Adapt to new skills and can manage pressure in a multicultural environment.
- Ability to share and use relevant knowledge to benefit the broader ADB community.
- Ability to operate as part of a team and coach team members to develop their capabilities and potential.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
