Overview

We are currently recruiting Early Recovery and Livelihoods Program Manager to join our Myanmar team.

 

This is an office-based position in Myanmar.

About the Opportunity

Your Responsibilities

This role includes the following responsibilities will be divided in 3 main categories:
Supervisory: all National Project Managers working under ER and Livelihooods grants
Internal: DCD-PD, Grants Coordinatior, MEAL team, all Country Program staff, Regional and Headquarters technical staff.
External: Implementing partners, representatives of public donors including UN, World Bank, and others, and relevant stakeholders.

Program Management

  • Provide leadership, technical supervision, and oversight of national project managers to improve the performance of all early recovery and livelihood’s activities in the program.
  • Ensure efficient and effective project implementation by overseeing the timely completion of high-quality work plans, accurate reports, and other mandated deliverables in alignment with donor requirements.
  • With strict consideration of the changing context, work with the project staff to prepare and adapt project work-plans with clear objectives and achievable benchmarks, reflecting strategic long-term and short-term priorities

Technical Direction· Provide technical leadership,review the short and long range plans for delivery of project services, and Implement monitoring systems and record keeping methods that support routine country-level, international, interagency, and donor reporting as appropriate.· Analysis of program databases to report on key indicators. Advise on improved methodologies when applicable.Program Development· Assess early recovery and livelihoods needs of populations affected by the conflict across RI coverage areas.· Stay up to date and Provide technical input, writing and budgetary input for new

About You

You will bring the following experience and skills.

  • An advanced degree (master’s) in a relevant field including international development, agriculture, climate adaptation and/or food security. An advanced degree can be substituted with an additional 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Must have Demonstrated experience in the field of Economic Livelihoods, Agriculture.
  • Must have experience in complex operating contexts, Experience in SE Asia highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience contributing to the development of technical proposals.
  • Experience analyzing data and contributing to evaluation reports.
