The Development and Outreach Department of Human Rights Watch (HRW) is seeking a part-time Associate who can provide the administrative assistance in our fundraising and outreach efforts in Australia. The Australia Devlopment Team serves as an important base for HRW’s development, fundraising, and outreach efforts across Australia, largely characterised by a full schedule of donor cultivation and fundraising events. The team is dedicated to defend the humanity’s most fundamental values and galvanise the community of supporters to make an impact on people’s lives.
This position is hybrid and part-time at 20 hours per week and requires availability to work occasional evenings, including internal global meetings and special events. The successful candidate can work remotely or from the office but will be expected to work from the Sydney office twice a week. The Associate reports to the Associate Director Development and Outreach.

Qualifications:
Education: A bachelor’s degree or a related field or equivalent work experience is required.
Experience: A minimum of one year of relevant work experience is required.
