ROLE PURPOSE

Plan International is seeking a motivated and efficient Project Coordinator (PC) to join our team and enhance our organizational impact. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the effective implementation of the Wezesha Binti projects. This role entails overseeing project activities and making sure they are completed on time and on budget, fostering and coordinating partnerships, monitoring its progress, managing various administrative responsibilities, overseeing the budget, and ensuring that the project achieves its intended objectives. The position demands exceptional organizational skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities, along with the capability to multitask within a fast-paced environment.

 

DIMENSION OF THE ROLE

  • Responsible for, overseeing project implementation and monitoring and ensuring quality delivery;
  • Lead the preparation of the project annual budget, and annual workplan
  • Monitor the adherence of safeguarding children and young people policies in all implementation communities
  • Strengthening networking and collaboration with district councils, association groups, government offices at Ward level and the CSOs within the region.
  • Consolidates quarterly project reports and provide highlights on the analysis of the reports
  • supervise project staff to develop clear individual accountability plans and facilitate interim and annual staff performance Appraisal
  • Supervise the program’s staff.
  • Schedule program work, oversee daily operations, coordinate the activities of the program and set priorities for managing the program.
  • Organize and coordinate program-related activities and events
  • Manage program budget and resources
  • Develop, implement and evaluate program objectives and initiatives
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Monitor program performance and develop strategies for improvement
  • Participate in the documenting lessons learnt, inter/intra cross learning, best practice and case studies to contribute to the PIT knowledge management learning.
  • Participate in internal coordination and management meetings to promote effective and efficient information sharing and program integration
  • Work closely with the MERL team in developing realistic MERL plan
  • Ensure the project compliance with relevant regulations and policies
  • Prepare project reports
