We are seeking a Training Partner Engagement Manager for a 2-year-regular position (renewable) to work within the Training & Capacity Strengthening Department at the International Vaccine Institute in Seoul, Korea. (Duty station: Seoul, Korea)
Job Description

This job is responsible for overall communication and advocacy event management of IVI Learning Platform (tentative brand) training program including GTH-B courses (i.e. Basic and GxP) to ensure commitments are delivered at good quality, on time and within budget.

Key Roles & Responsibilities
1. Oversee effective communication activities of the IVI Learning Platform including GTH-B program
  • Plan for communication activities for IVI Learning Platform including GTH-B program.
  • Build structure and update the communication scheme of training program for the benefit of the IVI Learning Platform including GTH-B program.
  • Lead communication required for IVI Learning Platform activities with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage the participant enrollment and instruction for all GTH-B training courses.
  • Lead for an effective arrangement of meetings, trainings, incoming visits from external collaborators
  • Manage the follow up activities after consultation and complete the report to donor organization
  • Take responsibility for communicating with internal and external stakeholders regarding selection process and criteria for LMICs manufacturers for on-site consultation
  • Take leadership in communicating with external faculty, consultants and organizations which send trainees to the program
  • Guide team members for successful delivery of communication activities.
  • Lead periodic (as required) reports preparation for MoHW and GTH-B Foundation according to specification
  • Support coordinating the submission of reports as requested
  • Support for updating, prioritizing, and following up the report
  • Support planning and conducting appropriate on-site training and consultation activities
2. Manage overall advocacy events of IVI Learning Platform activities including GTH-B program within budget and timeline
  • Lead all advocacy activities planned for IVI Learning Platform activities including GTH-B program
  • Act as a IVI focal point of contact to MoHW and GTH-B Foundation in relation to GTH-B program.
  • Coordinate with Training Program Operation Manager for effective operation of all IVI Learning Platform programs including GTH-B trainings.
  • Monitor delivery of advocacy events to an agreed timeline, quality, and budget.
  • Monitor advocacy program progress, and identify deviations from plan and flag raise rectification measures to keep the program on track.
  • Take leadership in providing support required to the travel of external faculty and trainees from overseas.
  • Actively seek for improvement area in relation with communication support.
3. Collaborate with Training Program Operation Manager and Training Development Manger for expanding future training program
  • Contribute to preparation of new training program as needed.
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders for the development of program
  • Present the necessary information to the internal and external stakeholders regarding existing training programs

4. Collaborate with Training Program Operation Manager and Training Development Manger for expanding future training program

  • Provide support to GTH-B training program director as required.
Job Requirements and Qualifications
1. Education Requirements
  • A Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in public health or related fields
2. Related Field Work Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree & 5+ years of experience or
  • Master’s degree & 3+ years of experience
3. Technical and Professional Skills / Knowledge
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office and Hancom Office
  • Excellent communication skills in dealing with senior external contacts
  • Strong organizational skills; able to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Excellent inter-personal communication skills; professional presence.
  • Program/Project management skills are plus (including MS Project skill)
4. Language Proficiency
  • Fluency in English
