Under the supervision of the Regional Director of Operations – West and Southern Africa, you will be responsible for setting up a reliable and relevant delegation system (with appropriate control mechanisms) for the ACF mission in Burkina Faso.
In this context, your role will be to:
You hold a Master’s degree (Bac+5) in development project management, social action or humanitarian action, international relations or political science.
You have at least 6 years of experience in a Country Director position, in a complex security context, ideally with Action Against Hunger.
You have already successfully supervised multicultural technical teams and managed humanitarian and/or development operations in a similar context.
You are capable of leadership, adaptation and innovation, with a sense of diplomacy and of interacting with national authorities and donors.
You are fluent in French and English, both spoken and written.
