The IC will work under the supervision of the Executive Director of The ESCWA Technology Centre (ETC). In particular, the Project Coordinator will be tasked to do the following: 1. Engage with MSMEs to encourage participation in the ASMES and exhibition, and provide logistical support such as travel and accommodation arrangements. 2. Coordinate with exhibitors to confirm participation in the ASMES, gather booth requirements, and support exhibition setup and logistics. 3. Liaise with the web development team to ensure timely updates to the ASMES website, including content uploads, speaker profiles, and event announcements. 4. Support the development and refinement of the ASMES agenda, including session planning, speaker coordination, and preparation of background materials. 5. Assist in organizing the IP Management Clinic, including outreach to experts, preparation of materials, and coordination with participating MSMEs. 6. Contribute to the creation of promotional content (flyers, social media posts, newsletters) and help circulate it through relevant channels. 7. Document coordination activities, track participant engagement, and compile feedback and outcomes for reporting purposes. 8. Support the ETC team during the summit, including on-site coordination, session assistance, and follow-up with stakeholders. 9. Coordinating the acquisition of knowledge and training materials for inclusion in ETC”s interactive toolboxes, and overseeing the collection process. 10. Drafting routine communications (emails, letters, memos, etc.) to engage with stakeholders as necessary. 11. Managing and responding to various correspondence and meeting-related communications in English. 12. Undertaking additional tasks and assignments as delegated. The individual contractor will also assist in various administrative services through coordination and support of consultation meetings on the above subject.
