- Pursuing degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Analytics or related field; with two years of relevant professional experience. Experience in compiling, collecting, and analyzing data from different sources, structured and unstructured.

Experience
- Knowledge of databases management, querying, quality assurance and control systems. Additional work experience is an advantage;
- Experience in compiling, collecting, and analyzing data from different sources, structured and unstructured;
- Experience in the development and implementation of the Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) or similar assessment and information management activities; and,
- Experience in building interactive dashboards using Microsoft Power BI and/or Tableau is preferred.
Skills
- Good data visualization skills in HTML5 or JavaScript environments; experience with AngularJS, NodeJS, or D3 is a plus;
- Valued proficiency in using two or more of the following tools: XLS forms for ODK or Kobo, Microsoft Access, Python, Stata, or R;
- Strong skills in working with relational databases, including SQL and/or Azure SQL, particularly for managing survey data;
- Excellent communication skills, with a high degree of efficiency and adaptability;
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks;
- Strong attention to detail, commitment to data quality, and ability to meet tight deadlines; and,
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with a creative approach to data interpretation and visualization

Languages
For this position, fluency in English and Spanish is required (oral and written). Working knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, French, Chinese, and Spanish) is an advantage.
IOM’s official languages are English, French and Spanish. All staff members are required to be fluent in one of the the three languages.
Proficiency of language(s) required will be specifically evaluated during the selection process, which may include written and/or oral assessments

Eligibility and Selection
In general, the Internship Programme aims at attracting talented students and graduates who:
a) have a specific interest in, or whose studies have covered, areas relevant to IOM programmes and activities;
b) are holding a scholarship for internship placements in international organizations and/or for whom internship is required to complete their studies; or
c) are sponsored by governmental/non governmental institutions and/or academia to work in specific areas relevant to both IOM and the sponsor.
d) are either enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum Bachelor’s level or equivalent) or have graduated in the last 12 months.
e) are between 20 and 36 years of age.

- Depending on experience and location, IOM provides a small monthly stipend to help offset costs.
