An advanced university degree (master’s degree or equivalent) in computing/information technology or related field. University studies in combination with an additional three years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree. o A minimum of 7 years professional experience with web-administration, content management or graphic design using related software and/or web/digital standards is required. o Work experience in developing or supporting knowledge management is preferred. o Work experience in web communications is desirable, including the use of tools such as Canva, Adobe InDesign, etc. o Experience working with IT developers and web designers to deliver a digital product is preferred. o Experience of working in an international and intergovernmental organization would be an advantage.
English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For the position advertised, fluency in English (both oral and written) is required. Knowledge of French is desirable.
