VOTRE POSTE ET VOS RESPONSABILITÉS
Under the management of the Country Director, and the Psychologist responsible for staff care in HQ, you will be responsible for strengthening ACF’s employee’s coping mechanisms due to work-related stress factors.
More precisely, you will :
– Improve staff’s strategies regarding stress related to professional factors (burnout issues, compassion fatigue, vicarious trauma) and personal factors (exposure to traumatic events) ;
– Provide psychological support and follow-up in cases of traumatic exposure ;
– Provide individual counselling for those asking for it, on a regular basis ;
– Identify local resources for mental health, in order to facilitate psychological care in case of future needs.
VOTRE PROFIL
You must have master degree in Clinical psychology with a relevant experience in psychotrauma and psychotherapy (BCT or EMDR training appreciated).You have good interpersonal skills and ability to work in sensitive cultural environments and hardship conditions.You are fluent in oral and written Portuguese (including translation and creation of tools) and in oral and written English (including writing reports).You also have a demonstrated experience and ability in workshop facilitation.This position may include working occasionnaly during weekends (in case of a critical incident).An eperience with ACF and a good knowledge of the humanitarian context in Mozambique will be an asset.
