Overall purpose of the role:

This internship program is designed to give the learning opportunity to newly graduated candidates while doing the actual work and providing support to the HR & Admin Departments in the organization.

Through your internship experience at DRC, you will:

• Gain practical, hands-on experience in HR & Admin.
• Receive mentorship and guidance from experienced professionals within DRC.
• Apply theoretical knowledge gained through academic studies in a practical setting.
• Learn about the organization’s operations, culture, values, and Code of Conduct.
• Access DRC’s extensive Learning Catalogue which provides learning opportunities for further development and growth.

Responsibilities:

• Check and receive all HR & Admin documents from the field and other offices and assist HR team for documentation in soft as well as hard copy.
• Support internal and external audit processes by retrieving, providing requested financial documents in a timely manner, and re-archive the audited documents.
• Undertake proper filing support activities including scanning, filing, and organizing documents.
• Follow up with employees to collect documents.
• Prepare cabinet content tables that list the contents of each cabinet and sticking them to the respective cabinets to facilitate easy retrieval and tracking of documents.
• Assisting with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties.
• Providing clerical and administrative support to Human Resources executives.
• Compiling and updating employee records (hard and soft copies), manage the employee archiving.
• Coordinate HR projects (meetings, training, surveys etc.) and take minutes.
• Assist in updating the employee monthly database and contact list.
• Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule interviews.
• Support HR department and IT with SharePoint.
• Assist in managing office supplies & stationaries forecast and request purchase of items as per needed, support on monitoring the stock items.
• Support Admin team to follow up and provide phone airtime and develop communication management tracker.
• Assist Admin team to schedule, Monitor and coordinate the request of the meeting room.
• Assist in preparing document required for visa issuing (KRI and FI)
• Any other duties may be assigned by the Line Manager.

Experience and technical competencies: (include years of experience)

• Applicants from Balad and Area close to Balad are highly preferable.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Basic proficiency in PowerPoint
• Basic IT Skills
• Fresh Graduated and having some experience working with NGO is advantage.

Education: (include certificates, licenses etc.)

Essential qualification

• Bachelor’s degree or higher diploma in Administration and accounting or with relevant professional certification
• Fresh Graduate

Languages: (indicate fluency level)

• Fluency in Arabic is required, English adds value.
• Ability to communicate in English required.

Conditions:
