Announcement of Vacancy:

The Association of Caribbean States (ACS) received financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) through the Regional Public Goods (RPG) Initiative toward the implementation of the Micro, Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises, International Trade and Development Project. Consulting firms are hereby invited to provide their services for this project to assist in the development of Small Business Development Centers (SBDCs).

Duties and responsabilities:

The ACS is seeking a firm to:

  • develop a competitiveness toolkit to improve the business development services offered to MSMEs by SBDCs and other business support organizations with a particular focus on MSMEs in the three target sectors (agribusiness, community-based tourism and creative industries)
  • develop a framework for a regional network of Small Business Development Centres (SBDC); and
  • design and execute a comprehensive training programme to operationalize the competitiveness toolkit and regional network of SBDCs.
