Summary of the Position:

The Clinical Program Coordinator (CPC) provides operational and technical assistance for a specific study. The Clinical Program Coordinators are responsible for coordinating and supporting the operations and technical aspects involved with clinical research studies in accordance with applicable regulations; GCP, policies and procedures.

Essential Functions:

  • Proactively maintains open lines of communication and acts as a liaison among a number of internal groups and services.
  • Demonstrates the ability to read, write, speak, and understand both English and Spanish.
  • Translates, distributes and tracks communication.
  • Assists in inventory management, purchases inventory, maintains, and tracks equipment inventory. Tracks shipping and receiving. Packs shipments, creates shipment documentation, and formats printing labels.
  • Performs various administrative duties, i.e., reviews travel expenses, maintains internal and CC team lists and spreadsheets, provides site visit status updates, reviews and processes invoices, and produces reports as needed.
  • Manages multiple activities and functions daily including but not limited to supporting the management of timelines, transition of property leases, the transition of subcontractors and service agreements.
  • Accountable for completing assigned activities per project timelines and elevating issues or concerns to appropriate management representatives with potential corrective actions identified.
  • Responsible for compliance with applicable procedures, regulations and standards
  • All other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office required.
  • Practical, professional, detail-oriented, flexible and dedicated team player capable of working independently.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a positive can-do attitude.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage time accordingly.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing procedures.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced start-up environment.

Position Requirements:

  • Education: GED or High School Diploma required. Bachelor’s degree or its international equivalent, preferred.
  • Preferred Job-related Experience: One year of experience working in a Clinical Research Organization is preferred.

  • Special Position Requirements: Domestic and international travel may be required. Individuals must have a valid passport. Fluent (written and oral) in both English and Spanish.

Physical Expectations:

  • Typical office environment.
  • Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift or move 5-15 lbs. or 2.26 – 6.8kg.

Travel Requirements:

  • Expected travel time is 15% for this position.

Pay Equity and Benefits:

The anticipated salary range for this role is listed below. FHI Clinical’spay ranges represent national averages that vary by geographic location. When determining an offer amount, FHI Clinical factors in multiple considerations, including but not limited to: relevant years of experience and education possessed by the applicant, base salary of internal peers, and business sector and budget.

Base salary is only one component of our offer. FHI Clinical offers a generous retirement plan with a matching contribution equal to 100% of an employee’s elective deferrals that don’t exceed 5% ofan employee’s annual compensation. The contribution is 100% vested.Eligible employees may receive an annualdiscretionarybonus based on personal and Company performance.All exempt/ salaried employees, outside of California,are eligible for discretionary or unlimited paid time off (PTO).PTO is pro rata reduced for employees working less than a full-time schedule. Non-exempt/ hourly employees and employees who reside in California accrue PTO. Non-exempt/ hourly employees may carry over 80 hours of PTO into the following calendar year. Employees who reside in California may carry over up to 120 hours of PTO into the following calendar year. The Company offers 10 paid holidays per year.In addition, all full-time regular employees are eligible to receive a bi-weeklyVirtual Work Allowance to cover basic office supplies, home internet, or other similar items.

Target Salary Range: $65,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year ($31.25 – $36.05 per hour.)
