Join our dedicated team as a Bildimap Bren blong Pikinini (BBbP) Program Coordinator and help us make a positive impact where it’s needed most. In this position, you’ll work closely with the Program Manager to ensure the successful delivery of our core programs: the Parent Support Program (PSP) and the Growth Monitoring Plus (GMP+), while maintaining strict adherence to quality standards and grant compliance requirements. Your role will involve overseeing all aspects of PSP and GMP+ implementation, including field operations and procurement of project-related resources.

 

 

You will make an impact by:

 

· Overseeing the implementation of PSP and GMP+ activities, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

· Monitoring progress and identifying areas for improvement, making necessary adjustments to optimize program effectiveness.

· Supporting the Program Manager in completing and updating Program Management Methodology tools.

· Producing and submitting timely and accurate activity budgets, cash advances, and acquittals in line with organizational financial management and procurement procedures.

· Identifying potential risks and challenges to program implementation and developing mitigation strategies to address them.

· Establishing and maintaining effective communication channels with project stakeholders, including government agencies, community organizations, and donors.

· Assisting the Monitoring and Evaluation Team in collecting and analyzing data to assess program performance against set indicators and targets.

· Providing opportunities for children, particularly those from vulnerable and disadvantaged groups, to participate in planning and decision-making activities.

· Representing Save the Children at provincial and national-level health and education events and national celebrations.

This role requires:

 

· Significant program coordination or operations management experience in development and humanitarian contexts.

· The ability to think critically, problem-solve, and make sound decisions in complex and dynamic environments.

· Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a proactive and results-oriented approach to achieving program objectives.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders and facilitate collaboration.

· Flexibility and adaptability, thriving in fast-paced and changing environments, and responding effectively to emerging challenges and opportunities.
