Danish Refugee Council (DRC) is a leading protection agency with a mandate to protect, advocate and promote durable solutions for displacement affected populations.
DRC has been operating in Ukraine since 2014, currently DRC employs over 700 staff in Ukraine and will continue significant scale-up in 2024 to implement emergency response in the Protection, Livelihoods, Shelter/NFIs and Humanitarian Disarmament and Peacebuilding (humanitarian mine action) sectors, using direct interventions, support to duty bearers and civil society organizations (CSOs), and partnerships with CSOs. DRC will continue and adapt its durable solutions portfolio to the evolving context.
About the job:
The overall purpose of this position (Paramedic) is to make sure he has full access to all staff (Field level staff) for delivering first aid and any other medical support if required during the Mine Action operation period DRC HDP Ukraine staff to any location within area of operation in a safe and timely manner in accordance with HDP standard operating procedures (hereinafter referred to as the SOP) and the current regulations of the Representative Office of the Danish Refugee Council in Ukraine (hereinafter referred to as the DRC) and actively and readily available to be deployed to all tasks. Contract length: open ended contract after 3 month probation period.

Salary and conditions will be in accordance with Danish Refugee Council’s Terms of Employment for national staff.
