Your responsibilities
Join us in a place that can be hotter than the centre of the sun, and colder than the vacuum of space, at the very same time. This is the smartest way to learn more than you can imagine and see your work travel at the speed of light. Almost. This is the fastest way to give your career momentum. This is your Origin. Where your career begins. Take part!
As an Electrical Technician you will join the EL-CS Section in the Electrical Engineering Group. You will actively participate in the studies and worksite monitoring of (de)cabling installations for diverse equipment at CERN accelerators, such as beam instrumentation, vacuum systems, safety systems.
Amongst your tasks you will be involved in the following:

About us
At CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research, physicists and engineers are probing the fundamental structure of the universe. Using the world’s largest and most complex scientific instruments, they study the basic constituents of matter – fundamental particles that are made to collide together at close to the speed of light. The process gives physicists clues about how particles interact, and provides insights into the fundamental laws of nature. Find out more on http://home.cern.
Diversity has been an integral part of CERN’s mission since its foundation and is an established value of the Organization. Employing a diverse workforce is central to our success.
