Our Unit is an ambitious and supportive team that values initiative, learning and sharing. At this position, you will get to proactively team-up with specialists across the Bank in our open and inclusive working environment. Further, we offer you the opportunity to enhance your professional skills in banking with modern business intelligence and data platforms.

Your journey in NIB will consist of:

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is fluent in spoken and written English with good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Possess good technical competencies (SQL, programming skills, MS Office). PowerBI competence would be an advantage.
  • Has completed minimum 3 years in higher education, in a field such as finance, data science, data analytics (or other computing science) or statistics (or other relevant education).
  • Holds basic knowledge of financial markets and instruments.
  • Has interest in, or would like to learn about business and financial planning and forecasting for financial institutions, including profitability and risk-return considerations.
  • Is energetic, has a proactive personality and contributes to the positive atmosphere in the team and among colleagues.
  • Has a high level of integrity and enjoys working in a multi-cultural environment.

The position is optimally held for the period May – December 2024, with possibilities for extensions depending on the overall workload. The work is conducted on hourly basis with flexible time schedules. The workload for the position will be higher in periods (especially during summer and autumn) yet combinable with studies.

We offer you:

  • A unique opportunity to gain insight on how a bank and its components work.
  • A place in an International Financial Institution with a clear purpose to do good.
  • A chance to learn modern data management, business intelligence and reporting tools.
  • A role in an ambitious and supportive team that values initiative, learning, sharing and the ability to proactively collaborate with colleagues across the Bank.
  • A platform to learn the modern financial planning discipline.
  • A possibility to contribute to a prosperous and sustainable Nordic-Baltic region.
  • A modern working space in the heart of Helsinki, with a possibility to partly work remotely.
