Introduction : NATIONAL CONSULTANT MRV Specialist for the establishment of GHG Inventory and Mitigation Country: Seychelles Position: National Consultant Description of the Assignment: The MRV consultant, using his/her technical expertise, will support the design, development, and commissioning of the national digital MRV/Transparency system. The incumbent will test, together with the IT expert, the system with an experimental data set and ensure it streamlines the process for BTR reporting for two of the reporting areas (Mitigation actions and GHG Inventory) and allows for Governments oversight of information. He/she will also contribute to strengthening data collection and reporting capacities of key national stakeholders in relation to the national digital MRV/Transparency system. Period of assignment/services : 60 days over 9 months April – Dec 2024 Proposal should be submitted directly in the portal no later than indicated deadline. Any request for clarification must be sent in writing via messaging functionality in the portal. UNDP will respond in writing including an explanation of the query without identifying the source of inquiry. Please indicate whether you intend to submit a bid by creating a draft response without submitting directly in the system. This will enable the system to send notifications in case of amendments of the tender requirements.
