We are now looking for a new

Executive Assistant

to join our team for a one-year fixed term contract.

This role is an excellent opportunity for professionals seeking to work within sustainability, communications and human resources. The job provides exposure to a wide range of NIB’s operations. It is an opportunity to further develop your professional skills, and to gain further insights about the work of an international financial institution and work closely with the senior management.

We are looking for a diligent, curious, and proactive team member with a hands-on approach.

You will support our three NIB executives, the Head of Sustainability and Mandate, the Head of Human Resources and the Head of Communications, providing general support in managing their respective teams. You will collaborate with ambitious and supportive colleagues that value initiative, learning and sharing.

Your journey in NIB will consist of:

  • Assisting the three Heads of Units in the day-to-day operations of their teams (e.g. team meetings, team events, travel arrangements)
  • Assisting with professional development initiatives (e.g. trainings, seminars, and webinars)
  • Supporting in the logistics of external activities (e.g. external events, stakeholder engagements)
  • Keeping up and coordinating the lists of speaking events
  • Supporting drafting documents, presentations and correspondence for internal/external audiences
  • Assisting in preparing the practicalities regarding internal meetings
  • Other administrative tasks (e.g. interfacing with external vendors, coordinating team budgeting)

We are looking for someone with:

  • A Bachelor´s degree or similar in a relevant field
  • Prior experience in similar tasks, for example as an assistant/advisor or equivalent roles
  • Excellent skills in organising, prioritising, planning and coordinating work
  • Can do attitude, proactive way of working and high energy
  • Curiosity to learn and work with different tools and processes
  • High level of integrity and thriving in a multi-cultural environment
  • Fluent in English, spoken and written; knowledge of NIB member country language is an advantage.
  • Advanced MS Office skills
  • Readiness for occasional travel
