General Call, Kyrgyzstan

ACDI/VOCA is seeking candidates for multiple positions for an upcoming Green Economy Activity in Kyrgyzstan, funded by USAID. These positions are reserved for entry level professionals with a special commitment to climate, environment, and the socioeconomic development of Kyrgyzstan. ACDI/VOCA strives to recruit a cadre of junior professionals to cultivate the next generation of experts in green economy for the country.

The anticipated program will address climate related issues in the economy of Kyrgyzstan. The Activity will include work on a policy framework for sustainable green solutions in the economy and the promotion of practices that contribute to a green economy within the private and public sectors.

The program is anticipated to start in 2024 and this position will be based in Kyrgyzstan.

Qualifications

  • Strong commitment to promoting socioeconomic growth in Kyrgyzstan through green solutions, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, preserving the environment and ensuring strong social inclusion.
  • Academic degree not required, bachelor’s or master’s degree in the relevant field is desired.
  • 0 – 5 years of experience in relevant field
  • Legal status to work in Kyrgyzstan is required
  • Fluency in English is highly desirable. Proficiency in Russian and/or a local language is required.
