Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities of the internship position encompass all aspects of the Directorates work. These responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Assist in analysing and interpreting international, regional and domestic legal instruments. Assist in preparing documents needed for setting up arrangements for the organization of workshops and seminars
Qualifications/special skills
Applicants must be enrolled in a graduate degree programme in law (eg LLB, JD, LLM, PhD), international affairs, or political science. Applicants are not required to have professional work experience for participation in the internship programme. However, applicants are encouraged to list all relevant work experience in their UN professional history profile (PHP).
Languages
Fluency in English or French, the working languages of the United Nations (both oral and written) is required. Knowledge of another language is desirable
